Seven kids are trapped in a cave: an enormous Alaskan brown bear behind them; a maniacal, gun-toting poacher in front. They have nowhere to go. Alarming the bear would be disastrous. Aggravating the poacher would be deadly. Daylight is approaching fast and with that brings the arrival of the poacher's gang. Soon the kids will be outnumbered and in even more trouble. They have two hours to come up with a plan or they will surely be killed.

Richard was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and is currently living on Cape Cod. This is his first novel.
