Familiar associations are engagingly portrayed: children struggling into layers of warm clothing before sledding, steaming hot mugs of chocolate, and cosy quilted beds to tuck into on wintry nights; the mowing of grass, mud season, and April showers in spring; beach barbecues, baseball, and bugs in summer; back to school, falling leaves, and pumpkins in fall; and finally, on with caps, hats, socks, and mittens once again, bringing the seasons full cycle.
