A heartwarming story about the friendship between a boy and a honeybee. Dex is trapped in a spider's web and is about to be bitten by a sly spider, when Max comes along and rescues him. Dex is so grateful that he follows Max home and goes against insect protocol by speaking to the young boy. A friendship ensues, and a bond between a boy and a honeybee becomes one that will never be broken.
