Our current struggles facing COVID-19 reveal a bigger pandemic, the deepening crevasses of our inertia. Evidently, as the world slowed, we stopped.

The novel tells the tale of a fisherman—Jonah—who dared to move the seas, his inertia. Like Jonah, only a few live moving on the immovable, because only few take the time to realize what the immovable is. We are all meant to move on, just as Jonah attempts to move the eternal depths of the seas.

But how do we move something that does not move?
