Kevin writes with the knowledge and emotion of someone who has been through hell and back. A single father who has always worn his heart on his sleeve, Kevin carries pain in his veins and hope in his heart. He learned at a young age that words have the power to both hurt and heal. He spent many years writing in secret, but life has a way of causing the dam to break, and all those emotions could no longer be contained. His words stem from life experience, both good and bad, and he weaves all that darkness and light into lines that stir the soul. A wonderful contributor to the online poetry community, Kevin also shares his words on both Facebook and Instagram. When he is not writing, he can be found spending time with his awesome son or indulging his passion for photography. He currently resides just outside of Chicago with his son and his two sphynx cats, Arya and Fiona.
