May 1985, Jeff and Tonino, two Parisian football fans with serious drinking habits, are on their way to the European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus, at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Laurent Mauvignier's debut novel, Loin d'eux [Far From Them], a poignant monologue about a young man's suicide, was published in 1999. In the Crowd, his second novel, was published to huge acclaim in France.
