The enthralling new adventure in the spellbinding story that began with The Fifth Sorceress...

Tristan and his sister Shailiha are the Chosen Ones, long prophesied to unite the opposing magics of the dark Vagaries and the benign Vigors. The destruction of the Gates of Dawn has given the ravaged kingdom of Eutracia the chance to heal - and the Chosen Ones the opportunity to fulfil their destiny.

But Fate would have it otherwise. For there is, it seems, another who unwittingly possesses magic in his blood - a magic that, in the wrong hands, could unleash unspeakable evil. It is imperative that the Chosen Ones find this unsuspecting soul before it is too late.

And indeed, they are not alone in searching. Krassus, servant of the Vagaries, has at his command a fleet of demonic slavers that scours Eutracia, seizing both men and women, bringing them to the Citadel, an island fortress of living nightmares.

Aided by Tyranny, a pirate as fierce as she is beautiful, Tristan and his sister hunt down the vile slavers' ships. They must rescue the ill-fated pawn of magic, now imprisoned in the Citadel. For Krassus seeks to awaken the magic in this one's blood and, drawing on the mysterious Scrolls of the Ancients, transform him into an instrument of evil the like of which the world has never known...and will not long survive.

'Really fabulous...The Chronicles of Blood and Stone is an excellent adventure in High Fantasy'SF Site
