The Proprietor, while he expreffes his gratitude for the favours thus beftowed upon him, thinks it his duty to caution the Public againft a fmaller work under a fimilar title, publifhed by certain perfons, ftiling themfelves The A ffodated Bookfellers. That work is made up of partial and furreptitious extracts from the above; whereby the fenfe is perverted, the arrangement mutilated, and all that can intereft the feelings of the Reader, in favour of the amiable A uthor, is entirely omitted.
