Diane E. Kern, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Education at the University of Rhode Island (URI). She supervises student teachers and teaches courses in education psychology, teaching methods, literacy education, and classroom management. Dr. Kern also coordinates the Secondary English Language Arts teacher education program in the School of Education at URI.
