Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Paul O'Brien MD is the world leader in the LAP_BAND[trademark] with extensive experience in treating people with weight problems, conducting research into obesity and teaching health professionals about the band. He pioneered its clinical use in the early 1990s. In Melbourne, Australia, he is the Director of the Centre for Obesity Research and Education at Monash University and heads the Centre for Bariatric Surgery. In Dallas, Texas, he is National Medical Director fro the American Institute of Gastric Banding, a leader in using the LAP-BAND[trademark] as a safe day procedure.
