Monica M. Grady is Head of the Petrology and Meteoritics Division in the Department of Mineralogy at The Natural History Museum (NHM), London, Honorary Reader in Geological Sciences at University College, London, and Honorary Research Fellow in the Planetary Sciences Research Institute at The Open University. Monica Grady is based at the NHM, London, where she carries out research on and curates the UK national collection of meteorites. Her particular research interests are in the fields of carbon- and nitrogen-stable isotope geochemistry of martian and primitive meteorites, interstellar components in meteorites, micrometeorites, and also in exobiology and in the possibilities of life, else-where in the cosmos.
