I can thoroughly recommend Activate Your English to any teacher or course director looking for a book for adult intensive courses. In a refreshing format, it: practises grammar, vocabulary and elements of pronunciation in a highly communicative way; exposes students to varieties of accent; systematically develops learner strategies and sensitises them to cultural differences. This course leaves teachers and students with a sense of achievement and time well spent.
