They can turn themselves into kings and queens wearing crowns, astronauts wearing bubble helmets, and flowers with pretty petals. They color in floppy ears to become rabbits, shaggy manes to become lions, and pointy horns to become dinosaurs.Each of the thirty-two activity pages has a theme or suggestion such as I m the captain! or I m Monster-ous! with simple drawings such as fish or googly eyes that serve as a guide and suggestions on how children can make each illustration their own.

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Jacky Bahbout is a writer, illustrator and actress. She is the author of My Fashion Lookbook, Funny Face and Make art with your hands and feet.

Momoko Kudo is a Japanese illustrator who trained at the Camberwell School of Art. She created the illustrations for Make art with your hands and feet.

Based on the idea of the seaside photo booth, Making Faces! is a fill-in art pad that’s hands on and great fun. There are 32 pictures to complete. At the beginning of the book, a page explains how the book works and suggests ideas for colouring in the pages. Children complete a picture, then tear off the sheet and poke their face through the hole. They turn themselves into kings and queens wearing crowns, astronauts wearing bubble helmets, and flowers with pretty petals. They colour in floppy ears to become rabbits, shaggy manes to become lions and pointy horns to become dinosaurs. The pictures can be personalized with messages to give to family and friends.
