Author and artist Tammy Yee is a former pediatric nurse whose children rekindled her love for picture books. Since 1994 she has written and illustrated more than 30 books, including The Tsunami Quilt by Anthony Fredericks (Bank Street College Best Books of the Year List, Storytelling World Honor Award) and Lullaby Moon by Elaine Masters (Ka Palapala Po'okela Award for Excellence in Children's Books).
