Ready-To-Use Decorative Celtic Alphabets: Seven Complete Alphabets (Dover Clip-Art Series) - Softcover

The richly imaginative character of Celtic design makes these royalty-free alphabets an exciting resource for graphic artists and designers in search of the unusual. Indeed, the letters in many of these alphabets are highly individual works of art — elaborately patterned and filled with traditional Celtic motifs. This book contains six decorative Celtic alphabets designed by artist Mallory Pearce, each with a dazzling difference, plus a basic alphabet of calligraphic Celtic letters. The decorative alphabets can be used as initial letters for lines composed from the basic alphabet, in a manner reminiscent of old hand-lettered books, or to compose whole words. Clearly printed, easily reproducible, these eye-catching alphabets will add a distinctive touch to every kind of graphic art, from book and textile design to advertising and poster art.
