Client to Local Amt - A client of a country solicitor appealed a Sheriff Court action to the Court of Session, and an Edin burgh agent was employed. He wrote to his correspondent for an advance of money. The letter was forwarded to the client. He sent £20 to the local solicitor, who embezzled it.
