N OT e.-in the Swedish language there is no article the; but the termination of a noun represents the article the. For instance, horse is hast; but the ham is hasten. This rule applies through out. The substantives or nouns in this work are shown with the termination or the equivalent of the article the. To obtain the sub stantive without the article it will only be necessary to drop the termination of any noun, and the radical remaining will express the noun without the article the.
