When a triple valve is reported as leaking at the exhaust port, but shows no leak when tested on the rack, it is evident that the trouble was not with the valve, hut might haveobeen caused by a leaky gasket between the triple valve and the brake cylinder head if a passenger triple, or if a freight. Triple valve the leak might have been in the gasket bet een the valve and the auxiliary reservoir, or a leak in the tube running through the auxiliary reservoir from the valve to the brake cylinder.
