J'ai donc montré alors, dans la mesure de mon humble éloquence, que le métier de comédien est un art; je voudrais, dans ces nouvelles notes, étudier cet art en lui - même, ou rechercher les conditions, en établir les bonnes pratiques, celles, du moins, que j'es time telles, expérience faite; et l'expérience, je la répète depuis tantôt trente ans.

Je définis l'art, en général, une composition où beaucoup de poésie habille et fait passer encore plus de vérité.
