IN the year 1861, in consequence of the Yorkshire Agri cultural Society having offered two Prizes for the best Plans for Farm Buildings, I was induced to prepare a design for a set of Farm Buildings adapted to a farm of 200 acres, and also a design adapted to a farm of 500 acres. To the former of these the prize was awarded, whilst the latter was highly commended by the judges.
