I have been writing since I learned to hold a pencil properly. I published my first writing as a child in the 1970s, and have won awards for both non-fiction and fiction. I particularly enjoyed writing The Ipswich Witch, because I had to imagine all the wonderful food Miss Brisket made. I make Sunday breakfast for my family every week, and am fond of scones, pancakes and waffles. I think I would enjoy running a B&B, just for the excuse to bake every day. I grew up in the eastern United States, but now live in New Zealand with my husband, two children, four goats, five chickens, and one evil cat.
