Levy has also written six books, including Hackers, which PC Magazine named the best Sci-Tech book written in the last twenty years, and Crytpo, which won the grand eBook prize at the 2001. His most recent book, The Perfect Thing: How the IPOD Shuffles Commerce, Culture, and Coolness will be available in paperback in Fall 2007. He lives in New York City with his wife, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Teresa Carpenter, and their son.
