DOMINIC CASSERLEY is a director of McKinsey & Company, based in Hong Kong. During his 16 years as a management consultant, he has helped financial services clients around the world address their most pressing strategic, organizational, and operational challenges. He has worked in Asia since 1994, serving multinational and local commercial banks, investment banks, and insurance companies. He is the author of Facing Up to the Risks: How Financial Institutions Can Survive and Prosper, which was published in 1991 in the U.S. and subsequently in Japan, Korea and China. GREG GIBB, a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company's Hong Kong office, has served financial institutions in Asia and the U.S. since 1992.
