He is author of Integrating the 12 Steps into Addiction Therapy and coauthor of The Addiction Counselor's Documentation Sourcebook, Second Edition and Addiction Treatment Homework Planner, Second Edition, all from Wiley.

BRENDA S. LENZ, MS, is an educator and licensed counselor specializing in treating addictions in women and adolescents. She is the coauthor, with James Finley, of The Addiction Counselor's Documentation Sourcebook, Second Edition and Addiction Treatment Homework Planner, Second Edition (both from Wiley). She is currently a substance abuse counselor at Marquette University.
