Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

GORDON ALYWARD BSc (Hons), MSc (NSW) was originator of the Approach to Chemistry summer schools at the University of New South Wales, where he taught for 13 years before joining Macquarie University as Associate Professor. Since 1970 he has worked in developing countries as a United Nations expert and World Bank consultant in Science Education, advising how to establish Institutes of Science and Technology Education.

TRISTAN FINDLAY BSc, PhD (St Andrews) taught at the University of New South Wales for 33 years in the School of Chemistry then as Director of First year Classes. His research interests are thermodynamics, but his main concern has been improving the teaching of chemistry.
