He is an internationally recognized expert in distributed object applications. He is the author of three other books and dozens of articles, and has spoken at more conferences than he can count throughout the world. He was a lead architect for the CORBA Persistence Service and one of the technical leads for the IBM implementation of the CORBA Object Services.
