Written for use in intermediate or advanced college level courses--especially for classes with both native and non-native speakers--this versatile text was written to address today's diverse student population. Changes in the fourth edition include exercises with practical work-oriented vocabulary and more communicative instructions. This text is divided into two parts. Part I reviews all areas of grammar--accentuation, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, sentence structure and parts of speech. Part II includes five short stories with biographical sketches and exercises. The text is written in Spanish and is accompanied by two workbooks- Cuaderno A for students learning Spanish as a second language and Cuaderno B for students whose first language is Spanish, who want to improve their formal knowledge of the language.
