Antonio Nicaso is an award-winning journalist, best-selling author, university lecturer, and internationally recognized expert on organized crime. He is known to have publsihed, for the first time, the secretive "Mafia's Code." His books have been translated into a smany as six languages. His most recent book is Rocco Perri: The Story of Canada's Most Notoriuos Bootlegger (Wiley, 0-470-83526-5, 2004).

Lee Lamothe is the author of Criminal Acts II, Global Mafia and Bloodlines: The Rise and Fall of the Mafia's Royal Family (with Antonio Nicaso), and the novel The Last Thief. Soon to be published is his book on human cargo smuggling titled The Trail of Misery  (HarperCollins). Lee Lamothe has covered organized crime as a journalist, author and financial crime investigator, and has conducted investigations in North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
