This supplement covers chapters 24-27 inclusive which appeared in Volume IVF of the second edition. Chapter 23 has been omitted from this volume, as it was agreed with the author of the second edition that the ``theoretical aspects'' of heterocyclic compounds are best integrated with the compounds of other properties and not dealt with separately.
