Her research encompasses metabolic memory, chronic diseases, phyto-nanomedicine for diabetes, wound healing, breast cancer, and epigenetic regulatory mechanisms, including histone post-translational modifications in regulating gene expression in diabetes and its associated complications. Dr. Gupta is an active member of several professional societies and serves on the editorial reviewer board for the Frontiers Journal of Endocrinology. She continues to contribute to her field through research, teaching, and academic service.
