Inhaltsangabe

Handbook of Photovoltaic Systems Engineering: Design, Installation, and Recommended Practices is a detailed resource that enables the reader to understand how to design, tender, supervise, commission, and manage all types of PV systems. The initial chapters describe the basic steps in the planning, design, engineering, and commissioning of PV power systems, organized by category, covering standalone systems, grid connected systems, hybrid systems, and solar powered irrigation systems. This is followed by in-depth chapters on environmental and social impact assessment, the tendering process, and performance evaluation models, with a focus throughout on offering practical guidance and explaining the technical aspects of these systems.

This is a valuable resource for readers looking for basic information and practical guidance on photovoltaics systems engineering, with a view to designing, installing, or optimizing PV systems. This includes students, graduates, engineers, technicians, and other industry professionals in the photovoltaics sector.
