This aims to give medical students enough basic vocabulary, principles and facts for ward visits, examinations and major tasks of analyzing clinical problems. It covers the complete undergraduate surgery course giving all the information necessary to pass UK finals. The text has been revised by a team of young surgeons in collaboration with Dudley and it includes new chapters on surgical diagnosis and on the principles of clinical management to include computer-assisted diagnosis. There is also a 20% increase in the number of illustrations and the text has been fully updated throughout with revision of the sections on neurosurgery and head injuries.
