Les biens eccléfiafiiques apparten01ent fans doute à ceux qui les ont donnés. Ceux qui les ont donnés poùvoient en faire un tout autre ufage. Ils étoient libres dans leur difpofition, or ils les ont donnés au Clergé non à la Nation,; donc ils appartiennent au Clergé, non à' la Nation. Le Corps moral politique de la Nation ne peut lui même être Propriétaire que de ce qu'on lui donne ou de ce qu'il auroit acquis avec ce qu'on lui a donné. Il ell aifé de lire les chartres de fondation de me prouver, fi je me trompe que l'intention des Fondateurs a été de léguer leur bien à la Nation non au Clergé.
