The student is guided through the procedural and practical aspects of developing land. Town planning subject matters is explored from both development control and property development angles. Town planning content deals with planning law and process, planning appeals and specialist areas such as historic buildings, conservation areas, planning obligations and sustainable development. Revisions include new work on urban regeneration, dispute resolution, probity in Local Government, best value and reforms to the system post 2001 Green Paper.
