There are several forms of the inherited condition neurofibromatosis (NF) - Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is the most common form - this book concentrates on NF1. This is followed by chapters on the cell and developmental biology of the tissues involved in NF. There are a number of chapters discussing the various specific clinical manifestations.
