Information Technology Law - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

"Information Technology and the Law" examines the national and international basis for action on such topics as data protection and computer crime, analyzing the effectiveness of current intellectual property legislation, and addressing the prospects for the UK's Data Protection Act and Computer Misuse Act, and current and proposed EEC Directives on data and software protection. Detailed consideration is also given to the increasingly important liability issues which may arise when the operation of IT equipment results in injury or damage. The book should be of value to students, legal practitioners and to those responsible for the management and operation of IT systems.
