Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Chris Nickson was born and raised in Leeds, England, and now lives in the United States. He is a music journalist who writes frequently about world and roots music; his work has appeared in CMJ, Sing Out!, Wired, Dirty Linen, and Sonicnet.com, among others. He also contributes regularly to NPR and CBC radio. His "Legends of World Music" column appears monthly in Global Rhythm magazine. He runs the website globalvillageidiot.net, a source of information on world music.
