From Library Journal:

Woolf is a renowned sports attorney who numbers among his clients such athletes as Larry Bird and Doug Flutie, and who has negotiated successfully with such luminaries as Donald Trump and Ted Turner. His book is filled with fascinating stories about his negotiations and how he obtained for his clients what they desired. Far from just recounting anecdotes about famous people, however, Woolf also gives his rules for successful negotiation (101 rules, in fact) which, he shows, can be used by anyone negotiating an agreement, even in everyday situations like shopping for a bargain or asking for a raise. Above all, his rules stress honesty and fair play, and, as he amply illustrates, the rules really work. A helpful book, with a refreshing attitude toward business and personal dealings, this is recommended for all collections.

From Publishers Weekly:

Boston lawyer Woolf made a reputation negotiating contracts for such sports figures as Larry Bird and Carl Yastrzemski, dealing with men like Ted Turner and Donald Trump. He also represents show-business personalities, including Gene Shalit and New Kids on the Block. His informative book, studded with anecdotes, lists the precepts by which Woolf has won favorable contracts for his clients. He stresses that he does his homework carefully, knows what his clients want and what their prospective bosses need, and goes about his job with kindly firmness, allowing everyone involved to maintain even temper and self-respect.
