Cock-a-doodle Quack Quack

Aware that he has the important task of waking everyone up in the morning, the baby rooster is more than happy to oblige if only someone would show him how and so he turns to all the farm animals, including the wise old owl, for guidance in the hopes of learning how to do what he must do.

Ivor Baddiel and Sophie Jubb are prolific children's book writers, perhaps explained by the fact that they have a little girl and boy themselves. Sophie teaches young children and uses her stories in lessons. Ivor used to be a teacher, but is now a scriptwriter for television and radio. They live in London.

Ailie Busby has illustrated several picture books for children, including Drat That Fat Cat by Pat Thompson and Slugs for Breakfast by Nicola Moon. She lives in Newcastle, England, with her husband and two young children.
