Sheree Fitch is a poet, educator, journalist, and playwright. A literary activist, she has been giving readings of her work in schools, libraries, and festivals for more than fifteen years. Awards for her books include the Mr. Christie's Book Award for<i> </i><b>There Were Monkeys in My Kitchen!</b> and the Ann Connor Brimer Award for <b>Mabel Murple</b>. Her most recent book was <b>There's a Mouse in My House!</b>. Sheree Fitch lives on Chocolate Lake in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her family.
