Nimruji Jammulamadaka is Associate Professor with the Organization Behaviour group at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Kolkata, India. She obtained her PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. She was also the Division Co-chair of Critical Management Studies of the Academy of Management for 2016-17. The first Indian resident to be elected to a leadership position at the Academy, her research interests include post-colonial management studies, power, organisation design and corporate social responsibility. Her research has been published widely besides being presented and winning several awards and recognitions. Her forthcoming book is Governance, Resistance and the Post-Colonial State: Implications for Management (co-edited with Jonathan Murphy). She is also on the editorial boards of Decision, Journal of Human Values and Journal of Management History.
