John Borrego is an Associate Professor of Community Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he teaches global political economy, regional integration, and community development. His current research is focused on how North American integration and transnational production are restructuring daily life at the community level. His publications include a co-edited book, La Insercion de Mexico ~n la Cuenca del Pacifico.
