Excerpt from Preliminary Table of Solar Spectrum Wave-Lengths<br/><br/>The following table of the lines of the solar spectrum has been in course of preparation at the Johns Hopkins University for many years in connection with an investigation of the spectra of the elements. The spectrum of every known element, except gallium (of which I have no specimen), has been photographed in connection with the solar spectrum, and some of these plates have been measured.
