G<br/><br/>Fo R the fourth and last time I present myself to the Public, as connected with the magnificent Library, the treasures of which are in part disclosed in the present and six preceding volumes. The Noble Owner of these treasures might have been well satisfied in setting all competition at defiance, even before he had made himself master of the Collection, which now, under the title of the Cassano library, for the first claims the public attention. But his zeal, taste, and liberal Spirit, in the prosecution of that pursuit to which he has devoted the last thirtyfive years of his life, forbade him to decline the acceptance of an offer, by which the riches of his Collection might be said to be increased even to repletion.
