Your expressions, just quoted, seem to imply that change may take place without the action of any power to produce it. This no-cause pidhsopky precludes all argument as to Cause or Causal power, and of course as to the mind in effort as such a cause or power. It denies, or at least wholly ignores, such power, and of course any exercise of it, free or unfree.
