With them the main purpose should be to get a correct idea of the Bible history and the Bible teachings. It is obvious that, to secure this desirable re sult, and to save time and work for the teacher, each member of the class should be provided with a copy of the Outlines.

The study of 'the divine Word pursued in this way has been found exceedingly interesting and profitable, and has attracted much attention from those who have been cognizant of it. That the students of our American schools Should become at least as well acquainted with the sources of our religion as they are required to do with those of ancient heathen nations would seem to be self evident, even if our religion were as mythical as much of those is acknowledged to be. How much more, not only when a large 'ma jority of our citizens recognize it to be the true and 'only religion.
