Teach Yourself French Grammar is an up-to-date introduction to French Grammar. You don't need to know a lot about grammar before you start. Everything is explained simply and there are lots of examples to illustrate each point. Unlike more traditional grammars, Teach Yourself French Grammar is structured so that you can look up language forms according to what you want to say, even if you don't know the grammatical term for them. If you already know some grammar, then you can use the index to look up the points you need and use the book as a handy reference guide. A storyline runs through the 18 units. You'll meet two families the Lemaires and the Dicksons and follow their activities in a momentous year. All the examples given fit into the context of the story so they will be easier and quicker for you to understand and you'll be able to concentrate on the grammar. The addition of artwork in this edition will help you to visualise the characters and the story. Each unit contains exercises for you to practice what you have learnt and there is a key at the back of the book for you to check your answers.
