Dr Peter Gosling is a freelance author and science commentator. He used to be a Senior Government Scientist at the Department of Health and prior to that was a visiting lecturer at the University of the West of England, Bristol, He is a Chartered Biologist, a member of the Institute of Biology, a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Scientists and a Member of the Society of General Microbiology.
