An updated edition of the Italian grammar reference textbook, covering the Year 2000 AS and A Level specifications. Each chapter deals with a specific grammatical point and is divided into three sections: "Meccanismi" provides explanations in English with examples in Italian; "Mettetevi a Punto!" includes reinforcement exercises to practice what has been explained, with a self-check key; and "...Mettetevi in Moto!" suggests open-ended communicative activities to encourage and develop the creative use of language using the grammar points covered. The new edition uses simple mapping icons that indicate on the contents list whether the level of each grammar point is to A level or to AS level.
