Inhaltsangabe

This book covers all the basics of maths - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, place value and percentages - in a very approachable and fun way. It also includes a section on using calculators, and maths games to play with friends or family to reinforce learning. Simple diagrams make the lively text easy to understand, and David Farris' fabulous cartoons add to the humour. The emphasis is on making children understand the maths they learn, not just follow set methods, and the teaching is reinforced by regular quizzes and exercises (with answers).
